This majestic palace once served as a summer residence and hunting lodge for the Bourbon kings of the Two Sicilies Empire. As one of two royal palaces in Naples, it still exudes a regal allure.

Today the palace houses the National Museum of Capodimonte and the Royal Forest, an oasis of art and nature. It is built in a cooler location, on a hill that provides a tranquility away from the urban hustle and bustle. The city of Naples has expanded over the years around this cultural monument.

This Capodimonte pen bears the name "Van Gogh". The Van Gogh's resin immediately evokes images of the famous Dutch artist's vibrant color palette and expressive painting techniques. For the naming, Gioia was inspired by two renowned multimedia exhibitions about Van Gogh in Naples.
