One of Van Gogh's most famous painting is the Wheatfield with Crows and can be admired at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It is often claimed that this was his very last work. The menacing sky, the crows and the dead-end path are said to refer to the end of his life approaching. But although dating from July 1890, the month of the artist's death, the idea that it was the final picture is a myth.
This Visconti Van Gogh series is made from natural resin uniquely blended to represent palettes of oil paints and is inspired by the artist's color and technique.
