The Caran d'Ache factories are located near Lac Léman, better known as Lake Geneva, where writing instruments have been manufactured with Swiss precision since 1924. The Léman collection has a classic design and is available in various lacquer colors with matching finishes, gold-plated or rhodium-plated.
The Léman fountain pen has a screw cap and can be filled with standard cartridges or with the included converter. The nib is made of 18-carat gold. Depending on the model, the nib is gold-colored or has a rhodium finish.
