In 1929, Pelikan took a big step into the writing world. As a pioneer, the company introduced a unique piston mechanism. This technique, in which the spindle rotates faster than the holder end piece, was a world first. This was made possible thanks to two different threads. The design and technical details have evolved over the years, but the basic mechanism remains unchanged.
